Why use a PH-neutral cleanser ?

Cleansing is an essential part of your daily routine. However, just because you have combination to oily skin doesn't mean you have to “strip” your face. If anything, it will have the opposite effect... The skin will produce even more sebum to protect the hydrolipidic film (it's a vicious circle). That's why it's so important to cleanse your skin gently, using a suitable cleanser that's gentle on the skin.

As the PH of our purifying cleanser is close to the skin's hydrolipidic film, it is beneficial for most skin types. It removes impurities embedded in the skin, leaving it clean and refined. It can therefore be applied to dry, sensitive, reactive or atopic skin.

pH refers to the acidity of an element. From 0 to 7, we speak of an acidic pH, and from 7 to 14, of a basic or alkaline pH, in other words, not very acidic. A pH of 7 is considered neutral, in reference to that of water, the neutral reference medium.

The skin's pH is that of its hydrolipidic film. Its pH is slightly acidic, usually between 5 and 6, and varies according to skin type, age and environmental conditions.

Oily skin has a higher pH (above 5.5) than dry skin (below 5.5).

When the skin's natural acidity level is normal and maintained, the hydrolipidic film is preserved and the skin has the ideal conditions to play its role optimally.
But if a product applied to the skin has a pH different from that of the hydrolipidic film, this creates an imbalance, disrupting the skin's ecosystem. The hydrolipidic film is then weakened or damaged.

Why use a facial serum ?

The serum has a deep action on skin cells and reinforces the effectiveness of other daily skin care products.

To know if you need a serum, simply observe your skin. If you feel that your skin lacks radiance, is tight or has imperfections despite your usual routine, a serum will certainly prove effective and complementary.

What is the advantage of a mattifying gel cream for blemished skin ?

Acne-prone skin or skin with imperfections can lack moisture, which is why we always recommend applying a water-containing skincare product, such as this gel-cream with a very light texture that won't clog pores. What's more, it has a matifying effect and regulates sebum production, which can be particularly useful during the day.

Who is the anti-imperfections serum for?

This serum contains essential oils and can be used by teenagers aged 12 and over. However, it is not suitable for pregnant or breast-feeding women. It should be applied locally to blemishes, avoiding the eye contour area. It can also be applied to the T-zone, to regulate sebum production. Prefer 1 application/day, in the evening before bedtime to avoid sun exposure. Massage well to allow the product to penetrate the skin.
